What is the relationship between competition and sustainability? This question will be focus of discussion at an international workshop to be hosted by the HHU Future Group "Competition and Sustainability" on November 25.
Is there a conflict between sustainability and competition? Or can they even go hand in hand? What legal requirements are necessary in order to achieve sustainability goals through competitive mechanisms? Please Note: In contrast to what was originally announced, the workshop will take place virtually.
On an international level, some institutions, initiatives and experts from academia are already dealing with this issue. At the workshop, these different approaches will be discussed in a scientific framework with international experts and members of the HHU Future Group. The aim is to promote an exchange between international and German scientists.
